Rick Vito is perhaps best known as the Grammy nominated lead guitarist with supergroup, Fleetwood Mac. He has also worked extensively with such legendary artists as Bonnie Raitt, Bob Seger, John Mayall, Stevie Nicks, Jackson Browne, Roy Orbison, and many more, as well as enjoying his own solo career.
Rick's abstract paintings and unique art deco inspired guitar designs were profiled in the book, “Musicians As Artists” (McMullan & Gautier, pub. Journeys Editions Books).
He has been acontributing artist to the National Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences’ charity organization, “MusicCares.”
Rick's work has successfully sold at “The Art of Music,” a Grammy Foundation sponsored exhibit at the Aladdin Hotel, and later exclusively featured at the Avalon Galleryat Caesar's Palace, both in Las Vegas.
His work is also exhibited at the Dallas Hard Rock Café, and at B.B. King’s Clubin Nashville.
Rick’s original prototype deco guitar designshave been grantedU.S. Design Patents, and the “Rick Vito Signature Model” guitar is currently available through the Reverend Guitar Company.
